    Wifi: is a trademark of the Wi-Fi Alliance. It is not a technical term. However, the Alliance has generally enforced its use to describe only a narrow range of connectivity technologies including wireless local area network (WLAN) based on the IEEE 802.11 standards, device to device connectivity [such as Wi-Fi Peer to Peer AKA Wi-Fi Direct], and a range of technologies that support PAN, LAN and even WAN connections

    Hub: is a device for connecting multiple twisted pair or fibre optic Ethernet devices together and making them act as a single network segment.

    Switch: is a computer networking device that connects network segments.

    Proxy Sever: is a server (a computer system or an application program) that acts as an intermediary for requests from clients seeking resources from other servers.

    Fax: short for facsimile) is a document sent over a telephone line

    Bridge: is a forwarding technique used in packet-switched computer networks

    Video/tele Conferencing: is a set of interactive telecommunication technologies which allow two or more locations to interact via two-way video and audio transmissions simultaneously
